Award-winning novelists Romesh Gunesekera and Mark Billingham will be joined by Meru Gokhale, Editorial Director, Vintage India.
Romesh's first novel Reef was shortlisted for the 1994 Booker Prize, and has gone on to win many prestigious prizes, including the inaugural BBC Asia Prize. He has also been a judge for a number of prizes, including the Caine Prize for African Writing. Meru has many prize-winning authors on her list and will provide a publisher's perspective on the impact of awards on writers and readers. And returning festival favourite Mark Billingham has won the Theakston's Crime Novel of the Year twice (for Lazybones and Death Message) and the Sherlock Award for Best Detective created by a British writer.
