Sara Al-Jarawan was born in Ajman. At a very early stage of her life, she started writing Literary thoughts, short stories, novels, and articles.

She joined the military during the Second Gulf War, where and engaged in many training courses, in which she has ranked the first, won many medals, and given honorary certificates.

She had the honour of writing "Soldier’s Diary" for one of the best Arabic magazines “Zahrat Alkhaleej”. She has also appeared on some national tv programmes during the Gulf War 2.

Her many other achievements includes writing and directing a play about the role of UAE women's involvement in the armed forces, several posts in the armed forces including editor of a local Journal entitled “Shield of the Nation”, working with the Diplomatic mission of the UAE in the Republic of Egypt, media editor Mawada magazine, the formal magazine of Marriage Fund Project, editor and coordinator of information in the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments and participating in local and international conferences.

Sara is not currently working in order to dedicate her time for reading, meditating, and writing.
